senior coalition

The Senior Coalition is comprised of seniors, community agency staff, and other senior advocates. Anyone interested in senior issues is more than welcome to attend meetings.

Currently, the coalition is focusing it's attention on a senior resource directory/senior volunteer center, respite care programs for caregivers, and transportation issues. In addition, there is an opportunity at each meeting for each person to share information if they wish: information such as upcoming senior events, programs available for seniors, etc..

The Adult Protection Team will meet to discuss future plans and training needs. (If you would like to participate or offer suggestions, please call Pam Keener at Legal Services, Eastern Michigan at 810-234-2621.

Meetings are held every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 9 AM at Lapeer County Health Department. The next scheduled meetings are:
